Messages
- Collecting marked work. Between 10am and 4pm
on Wednesday 18 June, COMP1100 students can collect marked
assignments and mid-semester exams from The Aquarium, room N329 on
level 3 of the CSIT Building.
- A note on Question 6 from the 2006 exam paper.
Quite a few people have asked me for help with the induction
question from 2006. In fact it was more difficult than is
reasonable for this course. Rather than answering numerous
individual requests, here is an outline of a
proof and a comment on why another approach fails.
- Question 6 from 2007 is similar. Here is
an proof outline for that one, too.
- There will be two drop-in sessions before
the final exam:
- 4 - 6pm on Thursday 12th June, N116
- 10 - 12am on Wednesday 18th June, N116
- The 2007 exam paper doesn't seem to be on
the ANU Library website, so here is a
copy.
- No late penalties will be applied to
assignments submitted before 7pm on Monday 2 June, 2008.
- Assignment 3 is now
available.
It is due at 7pm on Friday 30th May,
2008. The specification and associated materials are
available from the Assignments
page.
- Assignment 2 is now
available.
It is due at 7pm on Friday 16th May,
2008. The specification and associated materials are
available from the Assignments
page.
- You might find these suggestions for setting up your KDE workspace and
configuring Kate helpful.
- Drop-in lab sessions commence in week
3.
To begin, they will be 1 hour sessions. At
times when there is greater demand, they will be extended to 2
hours. You can seek expert help with lab exercises, assignments,
lecture material and so on. See the schedule below.
