Course Description

• COMP1900 is an introductory course designed for students who wish to acquire computing skills to assist their studies and research.
• COMP1900 may not be taken by students who are enrolled in degrees offered by the Faculty of Engineering and Information Technology (FEIT).
• Course Objectives
  After successful completion of COMP1900, students should be able to
  • create and backup files and folders on a Mac computer
  • create and edit documents in Microsoft Word
  • create and edit spreadsheets in Microsoft Excel
  • create and deliver presentations using Microsoft PowerPoint
  • search the World Wide Web using various search engines and directories
  • create a simple web site
• During the first lab session you will be asked to complete this Entry Survey.
• Near the end of the course you will be asked to complete this Exit Survey.
