Welcome to the Milestone Papers student page. In Milestone Papers students read, discuss, and review landmark papers in the field of computer science.

This course gives students an introduction to a number of research topics in computer science. It also aims to develop research skills in students by exposing them to the research literature and requiring them to learn to use research tools for evaluating the impact of a paper. Students learn about research standards in computer science though exposure to a number of papers of known quality and impact.

Assessment is by a combination of paper presentations, paper reviews, attendance and question preparation to facilitate discussion of the papers.
