High Performance Scientific Computing COMP4300
  • Friday 19 June:Exam tutorial will be 10:00-12:00 Tuesday 23 June in the seminar room in our building (N101).

    There will be no set agenda. It is up to you to ask questions. No questions we finish immediately!

  • Monday 15 June: We will hold an exam tutorial. Tentatively on Wed 24 June at 9.30am. See note on forum.
  • Monday 15 June: Your exam will have 5 theme questions. It is worth 40% of your total course mark. It will be marked out of 160, with marks awarded in integer multiples.

    As discussed in lectures, one question will be related to ZPL. It is worth 16/160 marks. You need to read chapter 8 of the text book. A copy of this chapter is on the course web site.

    The remaining questions will primarily relate to material from the second half of this course, i.e from shared memory systems on. It will cover material presented in lectures (including material covered by guest lecturers), labs and assignments. Questions may relate to material outside of the lecture notes, but that is directly linked to the course web page.
