Welcome to COMP8180 for 2009.
COMP8180 is an elective within the Master of Software Engineering. This course will cover the major issues surrounding the determination of safety criticality and how such a determination affects the various systems and/or software project activities. Techniques for determining the existence and potential impact of hazards and how to deal with them, together with techniques for establishing the existance of safety faults within system/software designs will be described and demonstrated.
