TPHOLs'98: Travel Bursaries

Purpose

Travel bursaries are available for students who wish to attend TPHOLs'98, and who would otherwise not have sufficient funds to do so.

Amount

Bursaries will ordinarily be awarded for amounts of up to A$1000.

Travel bursaries for TPHOLs'98 have been made possible by the generous support provided by these organisations:

	The Australian Research Council
	The Australian National University Department of Computer Science

As a result we have in excess of A$12,000 available for student travel bursaries for both TPHOLs'98 and IRW/FMP'98.

Eligibility to Apply

Students who are intending to submit a paper to TPHOLs'98 are eligible to apply for a travel bursary.

How to apply

• Print the Bursary Application form.
  
• Fill in your details, including your trip itinerary and budget.
• Ask your supervisor to sign the form.
• Fax the form to TPHOLs'98 Travel Bursaries, Computer Science, ANU: +61 (0)2 6249 0010

Awarding of Bursaries

The decision to award a bursary and the amount awarded will be made by the organising committee based on applicants' need for assistance and their potential contribution to the event.

Bursary applications will be considered after an applicant has registered for the conference(s) and referees' reports for submitted paper(s) (if any) have been received.

All applicants will be notified of the outcome of their application.
