Lab Tests

During your labs in both week 3 and week 7, you will sit a lab test.

No materials are permitted, and the lab computers are run in a special restricted mode. However, in each case, your test will be selected from one of five that are available to you in advance (here and here). Therefore although you will not know exactly which version of the lab test you will be asked on the day, you can prepare for your lab test in advance.

The tests are designed to enourage you to rapidly gain competency with the basic tools you'll need to complete the assignement and the course.

You are encouraged to use some of your time in the lab in the week before the test revising the matierial, and asking your tutor if there are any questions you're unsure about.
