COMP1140 Exam

The exam on the additional material beyond what is covered in COMP1110 will be held from 9.15am to 10.30am on Thursday 8th November in COP_G029. There will be 15 minutes of reading time, so writing time will start at 9:30am. The exam has similar structure to the 2011 Exam with three questions.

However, Question 1 of the 2011 exam is NOT relevant (since this topic was done in first semester this year). There is no previous question on the material covered this year by Elly and Qing on recommender systems and data modelling. You can prepare for this material by studying the lecture slides and doing the second assignment. Questions 2 and 3 of the 2011 exam are relevant for this year's topics.

COMP1140 exams in years prior to 2011 are not sufficiently relevant for the topics covered this year to be useful.
