  • Welcome to COMP2110/2510: Software Design

    This is about software design, comprising the general software lifecycle, software requirements, software design mechanisms and tools, software development processes, and the use of design patterns to inform software structure. The course will consist of lectures, labs and tutorials. The precise arrangement of these will be posted soon, and announced in class.

    Upon completion of this course, students will:

    • understand the basic ideas of Software Development Life Cycle
    • write up good quality Software Requirement Specification
    • make high and low level Software Design

    The COMP2110/2510 Timetable shows lecture and tutorial times, as well as their locations.

    Course Organisation

    We will meet each week for a two hour lecture (Wednesday, 4-6 in Eng T) and a one hour lecture (Thursday, 2-3 in Eng T).
