Course Evaluation and Improvement

COMP3530/COMP6353 is a new course which we will continuously improve using a Course Improvement process comprising the following elements.

Student Survey

A student survey will be run during the mid-semester break to identify any problems with the course. Issues raised by the survey and any improvements to the course will be discussed with students during week 7.

Here is a summary of feedback and proposed course improvements resulting from the student survey conducted in 2012.

Class Representatives

Each tutorial group will nominate a student as class representative. The role of the class representatives is to meet with an independent member of academic staff to provide anonymous feedback on course progress. This feedback will be provided to the course convenor and used as another input to the course improvement process.
