Launch of the ANU Timely Treadlies Program

This month, ANUGreen will launch its "Timely Treadlies' program. This is a university bike fleet, with bikes kitted with racks, panniers, helmets etc, allocated to departments across the ANU. The aim is to encourage active transport and to discourage the use of cars for intracampus or campus-civic trips. And DCS will get one! I've ordered an 18" red MTB (sorry no SPD pedals):. It will be kept in the CSIT BikeShed, with locks / signout sheet in the DCS Office (for legal reasons, available to ANU employees only - sorry).

Upcoming Events

ANUGreen Ride 2 Uni Breakfast, 7:30am-9:30am Thurs Feb 16
Its on again this year: the chance to meet fellow cyclists from ANU, and the odd tasty snack, and there are heavily subsidised helmets ($35), D-Locks ($25) cateye-style lights ($30), and Canberra Cyclemap ($3) for sale. (Afterwards, remaining stocks can be bought from the ANUGreen Office, John Yencken Bldg). There will also be the launch of the Timely Treadlies program.
