Honours courseworkHonours students will take 24 units of coursework and a research project worth 24 units. The following honours courses will be on offer to students in 2008. You must make a selection which is approximately balanced between the two semesters, or slightly weighted towards your first semester. Genrally speaking, you can enrol most courses starting with COMP4XXX or above (e.g COMP6XXX) except COMP6240 and COMP6700. Sometimes, you may also be allowed to enrol a third year course COMP3XXX but having a different course code COMP6XXX (e.g. COMP3600 and COMP6466), provided that you have not done that course before and you will be assigned extra components for that course in comparison with the other 3rd year students. Some COMP6XXX and COMP8XXX like COMP6420 and COMP6341 are not design for Honours studuents, the Honours students thus are not allowed to enroll such courses.
