International Federation for Information Processing Digital Library

IFIP is the leading multinational, apolitical organization in information and communications technologies and sciences. It is a non-governmental, non-profit umbrella organization for national societies working in the field of information processing. IFIP is recognized by the United Nations and other world bodies.

IFIP sponsors about 100 conferences per year. The IFIP Digital Library contains an index and abstracts for IFIP publications, most of which are proceedings from IFIP conferences. Publications from the past will be added when they can be converted to a digital format. The full text of each publication for which IFIP holds distribution rights also is included in the Digital Library. Links are provided to the full text of publications for which IFIP does not hold distribution rights, such as the print publications of IFIP’s publisher.

All documents in this digital library are open for free access. Access to documents via links to other digital repositories, such as those of commercial publishers, may require a fee or registration. Within the IFIP Digital Library the following statement applies to each document:

Copyrights for components of this work owned by others than IFIP must be honored. Abstracting with credit is permitted. To copy otherwise, to republish, to post on servers or to redistribute to lists, requires prior specific permission and/or a fee.
