Seminars

Department of Computer Science seminars are announced on a mailing list. To subscribe the seminars mailing list, please fill in Seminar List Application Form. To unsubscribe, send an e-mail to the same address with signoff seminars as the message.

If you would like to give a seminar, please discuss this with the seminar coordinator (seminars-owner[at]cs.anu.edu.au), currently Malcolm Newey, or any lecturer in the academic staff list.

While it is possible to make direct postings to the DCS Seminars mailing list, this is discouraged for people wihout authorization to do so. If you have reason to do this more than occaisionally, please ask the seminar co-ordinator for authorization (currently, members whose email addresses ending in .com will not be able to post, as such addresses are filtered to reduce spam). Otherwise, inform the seminar co-ordinator of your posting directly so that it may be cleared in a timely way, as mailing list moderation occurs infrequently.

The usual time for seminars is at 4:00pm on Thursdays, although you should watch for announcements as we often need to move a seminar time to fit in with a visitor's schedule.

Seminars are usually held in room N101 on level one of the Computer Science and Information Technology Building which is nearest to the Barry Drive entrance to the university (building number 108, sector G4 on the ANU campus map).

All who are interested are welcome to attend.
