                        Abstract
A short light-technical overview of various aspects of the networks
in use at DCS and how they have developed in the past 8 months.

Overview:
Short (5 - 10 minute) discussions of each of the following

 - networking now and then - an overview of our current network topology
 - roll your own router - including a discussion of Linux 2.4 netfilter
 - off-site backups made easy - using Linux and rsync
 - what wireless networking can do for you - includes a short demo
 - where to now

This will be followed by a question and answer session. This is also a good
opportunity for a peer-review of the network design in use at DCS.
