                        Abstract


This talk illustrates three stages of knowledge processing in
 practical document retrieval terms. The first involves the formation
 of atomic concepts and relations. The second, the formation of
 well-formed formulas and the final involves efficient processing to
 some useful end. This research involves such knowledge processing
 steps using conceptual structures and concept lattices as a framework.

Biography: 
Professor Peter Eklund is the Foundation Chair in Information Technology at 
Griffith's Gold Coast Campus and a Researcher Leader in the DSTC CRC.
