4. Title:    Gender Inclusive Teaching within Computer Science.

5.  Abstract: 

Educators will become accountable for not only what they teach but also
how they teach it.  As in the school system, they will need to provide
specific examples of how they have made their curricula gender inclusive.

6.  Target Audience:    

Any staff member involved in teaching female students.  PhD and
honours students involved in tutoring or teaching.


7.  Biography:          

Pam Roberts is a Senior Lecturer in Chemical Sciences and a co-author
of "Gender in the Engineering Curriculum" with Sally Moxham.  She has
written material on gender inclusivity in a number of areas including:
teaching methods; laboratory sessions; computers; engineering and
scientific apparatus; representing and including women in the
curriculum.
