6. Abstract:

Computational Science and Engineering:
- What is it?
- Is it any use?
- Is there any money in it?

These questions and more will be addressed through the filter of the
First International Workshop in CS&E, which was held at Purdue
University in October, and the experience of the first year of the
Computational Science and Engineering Education Project at ANU.

7. Biography: 

Henry Gardner is a computational physicist with a speciality in fusion
plasma physics. He holds qualifications in computer science and
physics. For the past year he has been associated with the
Computational Science and Engineering Education Project, a joint
initiative between FEIT and ANUSF.
