Position Available: Research Associate/Postdoctoral Fellow/Research Fellow
The Computer Sciences Laboratory seeks to fill a research position to work with, and under the direction of, Associate Professor Marcus Hutter. The position is in the area of computer science and funded by a German company. The research will involve 3D computer graphics, image recognition, processing, fusion, and machine learning techniques.
Possible backgrounds are computer science, physics, mathematics, engineering, or related. The appointment will be for two years with the possibility of extension depending upon the success of the project. The project is in collaboration with a German company, so travel to Europe will be possible. Some affinity to Europe and/or knowledge of the German language would be a plus.
Position for fixed term of two years, Academic Level A/B. Salary Package $52,672 to $78,772 per year. The position is available immediately.
