It was standing room only at the recent 50-in-50: 50 Programming Languages in 50 Years Public Lecture held at the Haydon-Allen Lecture Theatre on 9 December 2010.
Drs Guy Steele and Richard Gabriel, visitors to the School of Computer Science, delivered their popular multimedia presentation on the highs and lows of programming languages over the last 50 years, and tried to shine a light on what the future of programming might be.
