First preferences for CECS up 10%
ANU engineering and computing first preferences through the Universities Admissions Centre (UAC) are well up for 2013 with a 10% increase from the previous year. In particular, first preferences for computing degrees are up by over 20%.
“I am especially pleased with the results for computing” said Professor John Hosking, Dean of the ANU College of Engineering and Computer Science. ”There have been fantastic career opportunities in this discipline for some time and it is nice to see that students are now starting to choose these degrees again”.
