MINUTES: 

1. Noting of Apologies and Minutes of previous meeting

Apologies noted. Minutes confirmed. 

2. Matters Arising:

2.1	CSIT water quality - review of management of problem 

Peter reported the one outstanding issue, the installation of the
backflow valve in the pipe leading away from the tap in the Student
Lounge.  Contact with Andrew Smith last Dec indicated it would be
installed early in 2003; followup this month revealed it had not been
done then, due to the Stromlo crisis.  It is now re-scheduled to be done
April-May, with a further series of water quality tests to be done at
that time. 

ACTION: Peter to pursue this till it is finally done.

3. Review CSIT Hazard and Injury Reports (regular item)

none.

4. New Hazard reports

none had been reported to the Committee.


5. Other Business.

Chris Gunn reported an fire extinguisher, installed near the VE lab
doors earlier this year, had become loose (screws drilled into
plasterboard).  Through Peter, this was reported earlier this month back
to the Fire Warden Doug Palmer to request F&S for it to be fixed.  For
noting.
