MINUTES: 

1. Noting of Apologies and  Minutes of previous meeting 
   (http://cs.anu.edu.au/ohs/minutes/Jun04).

Apologies noted.  Minutes confirmed.

2. Matters Arising:

2.1	OSLO Workstation Checks: requests for funding

Funding approved; equipment procured and distributed.
(reported by Bronwyn after the meeting)

2.2	Local Policy for Children Within the Workplace

ACTION:	OHS Chair to prompt HOD for approval & publish

2.3	OHS Issues for Students 

The 6 'Don't Let Your Posture Cost You' posters were installed in the 
CS department and in the CS Honours room.  The additional posters have 
not yet been received; Bronwyn sent an email reminder request to 
Stephen Altree-Williams on 4 August 2004.

2.4 	report on Annual Building Inspection, Dec 03 

The area outside CSIT N228 had been cleared.  
The area outside the TSG area is mostly clear.  
Area outside N320 still has discarded bookshelves to be cleared.

2.5	Changed door proposals for CSIT Tea Room.

ACTION:	Vicki to look into possibility of installing windows in 
	entrance door.

3. Review CSIT Hazard and Injury Reports 

No new reports.  
Concern about wet stairs hazard (report from Feb 2004) has been 
addressed by placing a long mat inside the main door.

4. New Hazard reports

No new reports.  
Damien to check on CSIRO hazard reports.
