| 1993 | On a contract made between Daqing Oil company and Heilongjiang University,
I worked as a computer consultant for the company. My duty was to help
people in the company to get familiar with the newly imported workstation-based
network. In addition to delivery some training courses, I also developed
the following two software packages for the company: a. SUNMAN, an administration
software for networked computer system based on Sun Workstations. b. SUNPRETTY,
a desktop publication software on Sun workstations.

| 1978 --1981 | I worked as a public servant in the Provincial Government Of Jilin,
CHINA.

| 1981 -- 1985 | During the period of my undergraduate study at Jilin University, I
was one of the student leaders in the department. From the beginning of
1984, when all examinations for me to admission into postgraduate study
were waived by the university authorities, I become a part-time employee
in the university with duties of student administration in the Department
of Computer Science.

| 1985 -- 1988 | I was an elected member of the postgraduate student association of
the university, in charge of organising academic activities for postgraduate
students in the science and engineering disciplines.

| 988 -- 1994 | 1 In addition to the professional positions at Heilongjiang University, I was also appointed as Assistant to the Head of the Department of Computer Science, with responsibilities of organising and monitoring some teaching and research affairs for the department. From that work, I developed very good relationships with colleagues, students as well as people from the university, industries and governments. |
