I work as a system administrator, 3D VR developer, and lecturer in 3D graphics. I am not a computer scientist: I am primarily a toolsmith.
Software, presentations, and various odds and ends concerning
I've been a lecturer for 3D computer graphics courses at the ANU and University of Canberra on and off since the 1990s. Most recent course I taught was Unit of Canberra Visual & Interactive Computing for 2013.
I've been a system administrator for, oh, a long time now. Lots of "In my day..." stories to tell the whippersnappers. See my CV for the gruesome details.
You can e-mail me at:
My office is N117, on the ground floor of the CSIT building. I reserve the right to throw plush Angry Birds at people who bother me about computing problems in person when they could have emailed.
A couple of times people have sent me Facebook invites. I have no intention of signing up with Facebook, and since I can't reply without joining, my answer is here: not interested, nothing personal.
I also have an alternative home page where you'll find fiction and other weird stuff that has no business on the official ANU web site.
