| Who am I? |
| Work: |
I'm an information technology officer in the Department of Computer
Science, Australian
National University. I'm a member of
the department's technical support group. |
| Research: |
I'm hoping to write a PhD thesis at some
stage, to be submitted via the Department of
Software Engineering, School of Computer
Science and Engineering, University of New South
Wales. |
| What computing things interest
me? |
| Research: |
Formal software construction techniques that promote
design reuse. For more details, please see the description
of my research interests and my
publications. I'm a member of
the organising committee for IRW/FMP98. |
| Emacs: |
I use emacs a
lot. I'm writing a package which allows emacs to be
configured in a modular way. |
| Music |
| Playing: |
I play guitar, harmonica, keyboards and sing. I
describe myself as a percussionist, because that's how I
play! I write songs and have recorded a few demos. |
| MIDI: |
My frustration with sequencing packages has led to this
idea for a MIDI sequencer. |
| Beatles: |
Check out this Beatles
quiz. |
| Et Cetera... |
| Thali: |
Thali is my puppy. |
| Bookmarks: |
This modified Netscape bookmarks file might
indicate some of my other interests. |
