Martin Schwenke

Who am I?
Work: I'm an information technology officer in the Department of Computer Science, Australian National University. I'm a member of the department's technical support group.
Research: I'm hoping to write a PhD thesis at some stage, to be submitted via the Department of Software Engineering, School of Computer Science and Engineering, University of New South Wales.
What computing things interest me?
Research: Formal software construction techniques that promote design reuse. For more details, please see the description of my research interests and my publications. I'm a member of the organising committee for IRW/FMP98.
Emacs: I use emacs a lot. I'm writing a package which allows emacs to be configured in a modular way.
Music
Playing: I play guitar, harmonica, keyboards and sing. I describe myself as a percussionist, because that's how I play! I write songs and have recorded a few demos.
MIDI: My frustration with sequencing packages has led to this idea for a MIDI sequencer.
Beatles: Check out this Beatles quiz.
Et Cetera...
Thali: Thali is my puppy.
Bookmarks: This modified Netscape bookmarks file might indicate some of my other interests.
