Personal - Peter Strazdins

I grew up in the coastal city of Wollongong , and, in more wistful periods, hope that a Supercomputing Center will be be built there someday soon. I moved to Canberra in 1987 to begin PhD studies - the rest is history...

My family includes spouse Mayumi, daughter Erika (born 1992), daughter Marie (born 1995) and son Kenji (also 1995, +5 mins).

My hobbies/recreations include cycling (on & off road), rollerblading (freeskate+sk8parx), eastern philosophy and religions, and (when permitted!) surfing.
