Outline:

The aim of this project is to research self-organizing wireless HetNet networks and specifically investigate techniques and methods to improve the performance of such systems.

Goals of this project

The goal is to develop a simulation environment of a Self Organising Heterogeneous Network and realize new performance enhancing approaches to self-organising networks.

Requirements/Prerequisites

The candidate should have excellent programming skills with motivation and a desire to learn about a new area. Skills in wireless communications and maths is highly desirable.
