Signal Processing for Compressed Sensing

Project Code: CECS_114

This project is available at the following levels:
Engn4200, Engn R&D, Honours, PhD

Keywords:

Signal Processing, Compressed Sensing

Supervisor:

Dr Mark Reed

Outline:

Compressed Sensing is a relatively new techniques which have significant application to signal processing. This project will investigate these techniques and look at ways of applying them to problems in communications and signal processing in general.

Goals of this project

To develop a deep and detailed understanding of the techniques of compressed sensing, knowing their limitations and benefits of application. To develop a simulation platform and the associated analysis to demonstrate the techniques.

Requirements/Prerequisites

The candidate should have a strong mathematical background and excellent programming skills.

Student Gain

The student will gain insight and deep knowledge into the application of modern signal processing methods and the application of them to defined problems.
