Interference Alignment for Wireless Communications

Project Code: CECS_783

This project is available at the following levels:
Engn4200, Engn R&D, Honours, Summer Scholar, PhD

Keywords:

Interference Alignment, Wireless, Communications

Supervisor:

Dr Mark Reed

Outline:

Interference Alignment is a new technique that enables higher throughput when the access points are co-ordinated. The project will investigate the technique and research new methods to exploit this interesting topic.

Goals of this project

The goal will be to develop a simulation platform to demonstrate interference alignment before extending with advanced techniques.

Requirements/Prerequisites

Programming skills in C or MATLAB are important together with a strong background in maths and wireless signal processing.

Student Gain

Students will become knowledgeable in a new radio access technique that will be used in future wireless systems
