Multiuser Detection for MIMO Radar

Project Code: CECS_784

This project is available at the following levels:
Engn4200, Engn R&D, Honours, Summer Scholar, PhD

Keywords:

MIMO, Radar, Multiuser Detection, acquisition, tracking

Supervisor:

Dr Mark Reed

Outline:

This project will investigate multi-user acquisition, tracking and detection techniques specifically applied to MIMO Radar. The project will begin by validating known results before extending the research to include multi-user approaches. The work will include challenging signal processing and data detection techniques

Goals of this project

To develop new results that can overcome some of the limitations of closely spaced MIMO Radar.

Requirements/Prerequisites

Signal processing courses, Wireless Communications knowledge, strong skills in linear algebra and maths.

Student Gain

The Student will gain a deep insight into the operation of the signal processing related to Radar systems, specifically looking at future techniques.
