ABSTRACT:
:
The development of a ubiquitous network infrastructure threatens network file system security by increasing the potential threat against existing systems, and by spurring the development of new types of network file systems with new security weaknesses.
This talk reviews the security of existing network file systems for DOS/Windows and Unix, and examines emerging network file system technologies and their potential security weaknesses.
