ABSTRACT:
The partitioned global address space (PGAS) family of languages aims to support both performance and productivity on emerging HPC architectures. However current language implementations may not achieve optimal scaling on typical systems, as they fail to address the issue of hardware heterogeneity. The aim of this work is to develop methods for improving scalability of PGAS languages on heterogeneous architectures, without compromising productivity or resilience.
