ABSTRACT:
The single static-sink paradigm for data gathering in traditional wireless sensor networks suffers serious limitations on network performance, especially for dealing with large scale network and/or non-uniform deployment of sensors. To prolong the network lifetime for energy-constrained large scale sensor networks, one promising approach is to exploit the mobility and multiplicity of sinks.

In this project I aim to study how to make use of this approach for network lifetime prolongation which include finding trajectories and sojourn time scheduling for multiple mobile sinks under multiple constraints imposed on them.
