ABSTRACT:
It may be possible to augment the cold cognition (the conceptualization of team members as isolated individuals or simple consumers) approaches to Software Engineering Management with the integration of Social Psychology theories and empirical results. In this talk, we outline a set of hypothesis that looks into the marriage of these two fields with the view of improving the current state of the art of Software Engineering Management.
