ABSTRACT:
Measuring web search result quality is difficult. Even when users are explicitly asked, they often don't provide quality judgements. In this talk I will describe a recent experiment in which we examine a number of easily logged user behaviours, and investigate which behaviours can be used to implicitly measure overall result set quality.
