ABSTRACT:
Shadow Pitman-Yor Process (named by me) is to correlate several Pitman-Yor Processes by relating their base measures, this can be done by taking a projection from one base distribution to another. In this talk, first I am going to give a brief introduction to Dirichlet Process, Pitman-Yor Process, Dirichlet Process Mixture and their Hierarchical extensions. Then I will talk about some of my current work, trying to use the shadow Pitman-Yor Process to do image annotation and topic modeling.
