ABSTRACT:
This talk will present in detail our proposed new algorithm for a concurrent replicating style garbage collector. The talk will motivate various design decisions with our intuitions and feelings about the near future for hardware and software. Concurrent garbage collectors are tricky beasts to get right and this talk will spend the majority of its time focusing on subtle interactions between the GC and application code.
