ABSTRACT:
I'll be giving an overview of existing approaches to collaborative filtering, particularly the history & recent progress in neighbourhood methods. I'll then discuss some recent research I have been conducting in the application of undirected graphical models for CF, a new fast training algorithm and some preliminary results.
