ABSTRACT:
Channel capacity between wireless devices can be greatly improved by cooperative communication (CC) through cooperative relaying from relay nodes. Usually, relay nodes in a cooperative network are owned by different profit-maximizing entities. A relay node may not follow an existing socially optimal relay assignment, because its revenue may not be maximized in such a solution. Intuitively, game theoretic methods come to be feasible solutions to the CC problem with selfish relay nodes. Our goal is to design strategy-proof and collusion-resistance game theoretic relay assignment algorithms which guarantee a tolerable deviation from optimal solutions.
