ABSTRACT:
Good usability is still a challenge for application development. There are several methodological hurdles in designing good interfaces such as limited predictability of usability and low level of abstraction in user interface technology. I will review some work in the field and discuss our own contributions to the area, amongst them user interface customization and eye gaze interaction technologies.
