Title:   Digital Heritage for South Pacific Museums

Abstract:
This seminar investigates archiving cultural heritage digitally
in the context of south pacific museums. It identifies their
technological and operational situation before attempting to
find solutions on how they can leverage off emerging web
standards and modern digital archiving systems. It aims to
provide information and understanding about concepts and shows
demonstration software, which shall illustrates practical and
potential uses of captured heritage knowledge. The project was
supervised by Tom Worthington and based on work undertaken for
the International Council of Museums (ICOM).

Biography:
  Kwok Chung is an undergraduate ANU student.
