- The description of COMP1100 that
appears in the Faculty Handbook has evolved because of the
decision to base the course on the language
Eiffel
from 1999 onwards.
- The textbook for the course has been ordered. It is
"An Object-Oriented Introduction to Computer Science
Using Eiffel". It is by Richard Wiener and
is published by Prentice-Hall.
Unit Material
- A range of documents specifies
the various unit components such a unit description, tutorials,
programming laboratory exercises and assignments.
- Lecture material
will go on-line as the unit progresses.
