Attend Lectures

Lectures provide an opportunity for the course coordinator to address common problems/frequent questions being faced/asked by the student body.

Lectures provide a forum for the course coordinator to provide feedback on the progress of the student body as deduced from assignment submissions.

Attend Tut/Lab Sessions

Tut/Lab Sessions allow you to practise techniques you will need for the assignments/exams.

Do the exercises on the tut/lab worksheets.

Read the Course Website

The COMP1100 website is regularly updated in response to queries from students.

Read the Discussion Group

Seeing what questions/problems are being posted by other students on  COMP1100.talk  will help you to assess how well you are following the material being covered by COMP1100.

Read the Comments on Your Marked Assignment Submissions

Although the handwritten comments on your marked assignments are not your only source of feedback, they are specific to you and should help you judge how well you have understood the material covered by the assignment.
