Coloured Line

An average of ten hours per week (including contact hours) is a reasonable workload for a 6 units course.

This means that you should allocate some 140 hours to COMP1100 over the semester.
(There are no contact hours during the lecture break.)

If you do not attend for the contact hours, the chances of your getting a Good Grade in this course are Slim.

However, putting in an immense number of hours does not guarantee a Good Grade, especially when the work in those hours is not planned to achieve sensible goals.
