Introduction to Programming and Algorithms - COMP1100

Assignments
There will be three assignments, with due dates near weeks 6,
9 11 and 12 13. They
will be worth 10%, 15% and 5% respectively.
Assignment specifications will be posted here as they are released.
Assignment 3 - Cellular Automata again .. in Java
- Due during week 13 practical
classes, 2nd - 5th June, 2009.

Assignment 2 - Othello
- Due 7pm Friday 22nd May,

- Examples: here are some sample outputs to
compare with your own program's results.
In each case randomise is turned off.

CA.tgz is
the gzipped tape archive of the supplied templates and the ANU
graphics package.

- Assessment:
- 60% of the marks for this assignment will be allocated
by your tutor inspecting your program for documentation and
style (30%), and technique (30%).
- Up to 40% of the marks for this assignment will be allocated
by your tutor during week 8 practical classes, based on you
demonstrating your program and any extensions you have
attempted.
YOU MUST ATTEND YOUR PRACTICAL
CLASS IN WEEK 8 TO OBTAIN ANY MARKS FOR THE
DEMONSTRATION.
