Module 4: Web Page Construction

Coloured Line

For the the construction of web pages in COMP1900, we will be using Adobe PageMill 3.0, a WYSIWYG (What You See Is What You Get) composer.

You will not be expected to become a high-powered HTML (HyperText Markup Language) programmer during COMP1900. If you already know HTML, or how to use another composer package, you should still familiarise yourself with PageMill.

If you produce Assignment 3 using a package other than PageMill (or by writing HTML), it is your responsibility to ensure that the item of assessment can run in the university labs.

This is a very introductory module. We will not be setting up WWWebsites for your pages - we will just view them in PageMill. If you wish to put your home page on the WWW, you need to arrange this yourself with an Internet Service Provider (ISP).
