Your Comments on COMP1900:
Hope to use COMP1900 as an introductory course to all aspects of computing.
Having only attended two lectures and this being my first lab session it seems a bit early to be asking for comments, but it looks as though it will be interesting and educational thus far.
I'm hoping to be more literate + "able" on computers.
Yes, it does start off terribly basic but I can see it becoming very useful & applicable to a variety of scenarios.
Great idea, provides a much needed start to uni life and essay production. Thank you.
This course will be very useful for a luddite like me because I have been informed that handwritten material either will not be accepted, or will be penalised, in 3rd year subjects.
I think the first lecture confused most of the students.
I hope this unit will help me build confidence in most computer application, especially concerning the internet.
Let's do lots of web page construction, & less word processing.
