COMP2100
LecturesTime and Place
We plan to give 29 lectures spread over the thirteen teaching weeks of the semester. There are 3 × 13 = 39 lecture times, minus two lost to public holidays, so some lecture slots will not be used. For details, check the lecture schedule on the Schedule Page.
Lecture A: Monday 10am, MCC T2 Lecture B: Wednesday 10am, MCC T2 Lecture C: Thursday 5pm, MCC T3 Lecture notes will be available here on the class web site and in your brick. The versions in the brick are from last year, so there may be some minor changes. The online versions will be brought up to date as we progress through the semester.
We will not be taping lectures. We will not usually follow the written notes exactly. We will leave some topics for you to read by yourself, but will include deeper discussion or practical demonstrations of others. We strongly recommend that you attend the lectures and study the notes, but depending on your personal learning style, you may instead choose to do one or the other, or indeed neither.
