Labs

Two hour laboratory classes will be held every second week of semester, commencing in Week 2. That is, your first practical class will be held during the week 28th February to 4th March).

You are expected to attend your laboratory classes, and the roll will be marked. If you can't make it, you should ensure that you find the time to work through the exercises before the next class. It may not be possible to attend a different group; the class may be full.

Registering for Laboratory Classes

You should register for a laboratory group by the end of Week 1. Register using the Streams system. Places in groups are allocated on a “first-come first-served” basis, so register early to avoid disappointment. (While there will be enough places for all, there is no guarantee that you will get your preferred time. Size limits on groups will be strictly enforced.

Changing Groups

If you are unable to attend the group you are registered in, then you may request a change of group by sending e-mail to comp2100@cs.anu.edu.au. The mail must contain all the following information.

1. Your name.

2. Your student number.

3. A list of the groups that you can attend, in your order of preference.

4. For each group that you cannot attend, the reason why not.

No changes will be granted other than those requested by e-mail and which provide all the information requested above. The information requested at 3 and 4 must be consistent, or no change will be granted.

If for some reason you are unable to register for a group through Streams, then follow the same instructions as for changing your group.
